Guanere ARR

Overview

The GUANARÉ ARR project, led by Carbosur, focuses on afforesting 21,298 hectares of degraded grasslands in Uruguay. Formerly used for extensive beef cattle grazing, these lands are being transformed into high-value timber plantations. Through afforestation, the project aims to sequester significant amounts of carbon dioxide, contributing to climate change mitigation and the restoration of degraded ecosystems.
